No ads. No spam. No "Pro."
No banner ads, no upsell modals, no email nags, no "upgrade to unlock." Every feature is free, and nothing on the screen is trying to sell you something.
League companion · Free, lean, private
Warden detects your game mode and reads your champ select straight from the League client, then recommends the right thing (a full build on the Rift, augments on Arena and ARAM) and imports it with one click. Every feature is free. No ads. No spam. No bloat. Just a clean, minimal client that gives you exactly what you need.
The honest pitch
The dominant companion apps are the set-and-forget default, but they're ad-supported, gate their best analytics behind a monthly paywall, and have grown into heavy, cluttered dashboards. Warden delivers the same daily-driver feature set as a lean, focused client.
Standouts
No banner ads, no upsell modals, no email nags, no "upgrade to unlock." Every feature is free, and nothing on the screen is trying to sell you something.
A clean, minimal client focused on one job: the right recommendation for the mode you're in. No cluttered dashboards, no feature-creep, no panels you'll never open. Updates are instant and jank-free, with zero notification spam.
A ~10 MB native app, versus the ~250 MB a typical companion bundles. Targets under 2% CPU and under 250 MB RAM in game, so it never costs you frames.
No Warden account: it authenticates against your local League client. Telemetry is opt-in and off by default, with granular per-toggle control. Recommendations are computed on your machine.
Every pick is explainable: it shows the tier and the reason. Static data comes from Riot's free Data Dragon. The opt-in win-rate pipeline derives builds from real matches with a transparent Wilson lower bound. No invented numbers, no black box.
Imports always create new rune pages and item sets prefixed "Warden", and never overwrite or delete pages it didn't make. Run it safely alongside Mobalytics, op.gg or Porofessor.
Warden does the core loop (detect the mode, look up your team, recommend the right build or augments) and does it fast. It won't try to be your browser, your social network, and your news feed at the same time.
The full daily-driver toolkit
Mode-aware recommendations, complete champion coverage, and one-click import, all running against your live client or a built-in demo mode.
A complete build for every champion on Summoner's Rift and ARAM: 344 builds, every item, rune, spell, and skill order resolved to a real name and working icon. No bare numeric IDs ever reach the screen.
Warden detects the mode (Summoner's Rift, ARAM, Arena, URF, One for All, Nexus Blitz, Practice) and recommends the right thing: a build on the Rift, ranked augments on Arena and ARAM.
A portrait grid you can search and filter by tag, with per-champion build pages for items, runes, summoners and skill order, and a one-tap toggle between Rift and ARAM builds.
Rank the augments you're actually offered, or browse the full tier list: every augment with its rarity, a clean plain-English description, and an icon. CommunityDragon template markup stripped to readable prose.
Push the recommended rune page, item set and summoner spells straight into League, created fresh as "Warden" pages, never clobbering your existing setup.
Your allies in champ select resolved from champion-id to name and portrait the moment you lock in, so you can plan around your comp instantly.
Opt in with your own Riot key and Warden derives real builds from recent high-elo ranked matches: a Wilson lower-bound win rate, kept in a separate bucket so it can never clobber the defaults.
A nightly pipeline refreshes champions, items, spells, runes and augments from Data Dragon and CommunityDragon for the live patch, served as static JSON from a global CDN, no key required.
No League installed? A mock mode replays canned champ-select scenarios for every mode, so you can try the full experience (Rift build, Arena and ARAM augments) before you ever launch the game.
A native, transparent overlay with objective timers and trackers: a separate process that never touches the game, the same posture Mobalytics and Porofessor ship safely today.

Privacy
Warden has no account and no incentive to harvest your matches. Recommendations are computed on your machine, and telemetry is off until you turn it on.
Warden authenticates against your local client via the LCU lockfile. There's nothing to sign up for.
Opt-in only, with separate toggles for crash reports, feature usage and latency. No identifiers, no IP logging.
Game data ships as static JSON. Recommendations are derived locally, so your champ-select doesn't have to leave your PC.
Your match data isn't a product. Warden has no incentive to harvest it, and doesn't.
Side by side
Same daily-driver feature set. Without the ads, the paywall, the account, or the quarter-gig of bundled browser.

Questions
Never. Warden always creates new pages and item sets prefixed "Warden", and it will never overwrite or delete anything it didn't create. You can run it safely alongside Mobalytics, op.gg or Porofessor without anything fighting over your setup.
Game data is read-only and identical for every player, so it ships as static JSON from a global CDN. There are no per-user servers to run and nothing to monetize you with. Warden stays lean on purpose, which keeps it cheap to run and free to use.
Windows is supported today, with macOS as a fast-follow at full feature parity. It's a tiny native desktop app, not a bundled browser, so the download stays small and it runs light.
Warden resolves your four allies in champ select instantly. Riot deliberately hides enemy identities during ranked champ select (anti-dodge, anti-stream-snipe), so enemies generally aren't resolvable until the loading screen, a platform limitation every companion shares. Full ten-player scouting is on the roadmap where the API allows it.
