What data leaves a user's Mac?
Scanning is processed locally. Delve uses online services for licensing, updates, accounts, referrals, analytics, and diagnostics. Incident reports can include aggregate scan statistics and sanitized crash details. Product analytics include the Mac account name and username, and a first-launch notification sends those identifiers with app and macOS version information to Khaos Studios through Discord. Can our security team evaluate Delve before we buy?
Yes. The 14-day trial includes every feature in the signed, Apple-notarized app. Evaluate permissions, network access, licensing, and cleanup behavior on representative Macs. Contact us with any security-review requirements.
How does team licensing work?
The list price is $4.99 USD per license as a one-time purchase with free updates. Contact support@khaosstudio.com with your Mac count and procurement requirements to discuss volume terms.
Is there a central admin console or fleet reporting?
No. Delve is an app used on each Mac. It does not include a central console, remote scanning, or consolidated fleet storage reports.
Does Delve work on an offline network?
Local scanning does not require cloud processing. License activation and periodic validation require online access. A licensed installation has a seven-day offline grace period after its last successful validation. Review this requirement before deploying to a restricted network.
Which Macs can run Delve?
Delve requires Apple Silicon and macOS 26 or later. Intel Macs and earlier macOS versions are not supported.
Can we deploy Delve through our MDM?
Delve is distributed as a signed, notarized disk image. Packaging, license activation, update handling, and Full Disk Access need to be evaluated with your management system. macOS supports managed privacy permissions through a Privacy Preferences Policy Control policy; test your configuration before a wider rollout.
