MORE SCREENS. ONE ATMOSPHERE.
Open Afterglow on another screen on your network. It joins automatically when a direct connection is available. No account. Nothing to install.
Connection details are exchanged automatically. If local device discovery is blocked, enter the controller’s private IP address from its Wi-Fi or Ethernet settings.
Enter the inviting screen’s private IP address from its Wi-Fi or Ethernet settings, then choose Join again. Use that screen’s address, not this device’s.
Allow local-network access if your browser asks. If pairing still stalls, enter this device’s IP address from its Wi-Fi or Ethernet settings, then create or join a new invitation. Repeat on the other device using its own address. Leave blank for automatic pairing.
Every connected screen can adjust the light. If automatic discovery cannot find your other device, share a link or pair manually.
ONE LINK. MORE LIGHT.
Open this link on another screen on your network. It connects and follows your light automatically. Keep this controller open.
Waiting for another screen.
Anyone with this link can adjust the light. It expires after 24 hours. Internet introduces the screens; light updates travel directly over LAN.
DIRECT CONNECTION · LOCAL NETWORK
Keep both pages open. On the other screen, find its private IP address in Wi-Fi or Ethernet settings and enter it below. Your existing pairing codes stay valid.
Both screens must share a reachable network. Guest Wi-Fi, a VPN, or blocked local-network access can prevent a direct connection.
Pair only screens you trust: connected screens can change this setup. Guest Wi-Fi may block connections. No internet relay is used.

A SMALL EXPERIMENT BY KHAOS STUDIOS
Turn a spare display into a warm fill light, a colorful backdrop, or a softbox around your camera.
Intensity changes the pixels on this page. Set your display brightness yourself; color temperature is approximate and screens may look different.
Open this same page in another tab or on another device on your network. Afterglow looks for the shared setup and joins automatically. Anyone with Afterglow open on a reachable local network can join and control its screens. Light updates travel directly between browsers.
Allow local-network access if your browser asks. Guest Wi-Fi, VPNs, different internet routes, or browser privacy settings can prevent automatic discovery. Open Connection help to share a link or get connection help.
Each screen needs its own tap on Fullscreen to expand the light. Keep awake works while this page is visible, when your browser allows it. Automatically joined screens reconnect on refresh, and another screen takes over when the controller closes.
When focused: H on the hide/show button · F on Fullscreen · Escape to return. The page is cached for later offline visits when your browser supports it. Automatic discovery needs internet access to introduce screens; the light settings stay on the direct connection.
Afterglow needs JavaScript for its light controls and screen connections.
